I just started to take my dog sahara there and they really know what they are talking about and took a long time answering all of my questions and gave me extra info. They also will do a gastropexy with a spay for only 40 dollars more.

I see this is an old post. Are you still happy with Clyde's?
My favorite vet in the area is Dr. Tammy Albin, for a lot of reasons. She has clinics in both Mattoon and Charleston.
I have had extensive experience with Clyde's and have heard many, many experiences from other clients (or former clients!) of hers. I would be happy to share some of it with you if you like.
I would not recommend anyone to go see Dr. Clyde. The only vet I would prefer her over is Dr. Bora Unal in Charleston. Never go there!!sigpicBubbles the lap puppy
